Pros
Good camaraderie among co-workers, free food end of quarter, partner fairs produces good networking opportunities for those who are pursuing interests in IT, provides a good solid foundation for other pursuits
Cons
I was once a very enthusiastic employee there at Zones. I worked there for years and only had a salary raise of a equivalent of $2.50 an hour since beginning there regardless of my increased responsibility and work effort. This goes across the board in sales and support positions. I have seen some really great people leave on the low rate of pay alone. Zones prides themselves on being a business that values diversity but if you glance at leadership you will see otherwise. Only one woman is at the top ranks of the organization and she seems to have reached her glass ceiling. Without my colleagues, I would have left sooner than I did. This is a thankless job with no reward for extra effort; the message sent back is always DO MORE. Not good job. They praise leadership on the backs of those who actually worked to produce those results.
