Pros
Chill atmosphere for the most part and certain managers are cool. Food is brought from different manufacturers as well. Zones DOES NOT provide any of it! Cool prizes can be won as well from manufacturers.
Cons
Where do I start? 1. You won’t get paid for 75% of your efforts because AM’s only get paid for selling core products (Notebooks, printers) but you’re expected to still work hard and NOT get paid. 2. The pay structure itself is massively antiquated for 2019. 3. The culture is chill, that’s because most folks there aren’t truly invested. 4. Management makes you go to pointless trainings almost daily, so the company gets paid from manufacturers, but you don’t. 5. Company DOES NOT value your time, nor your commitment, as you will have daily team huddles that waste a lot of your valuable time. 5. High turnover due to factors above. 6. Morale is quite low and is palpable in the building. 7. They micro manage the hell out of people using metrics only a seven year old wouldn’t find offensive. 8. ZERO work from home policy. 9. Your clients won’t respect you because they view Zones as the ultimate middle man who does not make their own product, nor have the capabilities to truly solve their challenges. 10. Different departments within company do not work together, nor do they seem to like each other causing unnecessary stress and hostility. 11. Lots of others are actively interviewing making it a running joke in the office:)
