It is a good "I need an income" type of job & your LA Fitness membership discount is cool.
Cons
Low pay Commissions are a scam; Example: $100,000 Hardware sale at Zones at 10 points of margin (10%) is $10,000 but as an Account executive you will receives 10% of that 10% which is $1,000. $1,000 from a $100k sale just doesn't make sense especially after 30% tax as well on top of that. $100,000 sale = $700 in your pocket. Expectations are to have a run rate of business $500k+ a year and the average Account Executive will earn roughly $42-50,000 a year even with this amount of success. Looking at the most tenured Account executives (3-6 years) average roughly $45-55k a year and they are considered the more successful people within the company. The only true people that have a shot a at making any money are Senior management and the Enterprise reps.
