Pros

Good basic pay and OTE "potential"

Cons

The management and leadership culture was by far the worst aspect of working at the company. Communication around performance, expectations, and job security was consistently unclear and often contradictory, creating a high-pressure environment where employees rarely knew where they actually stood. There was also a culture of publicly calling out employees during team meetings, which created an atmosphere of embarrassment rather than constructive coaching or support. Instead of developing people, management often relied on pressure, public criticism, and constantly shifting expectations. Leadership appeared heavily focused on growth metrics and optics while fundamental operational problems were ignored. Renewal performance across the business was extremely poor, customer concerns around product quality and data accuracy were common, and internal teams were frequently misaligned. The customer success function was particularly disappointing, with little meaningful strategic support provided on many accounts for extended periods. SDR contribution was minimal, and in several situations poor internal management and decision-making actively made commercial progression harder rather than helping close or retain business. There are talented individuals within the company, but overall the business felt poorly managed, reactive, and increasingly unstable amid continuous restructuring and layoffs. The reality internally was completely different from how the company presents itself externally and during recruitment.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. While it’s difficult to read parts of your experience, we appreciate hearing perspectives like this because they help us identify where we need to improve. There’s no question that the past few years have brought significant change across our business and our industry. As we’ve evolved, there have been moments where teams experienced organizational shifts, changing priorities, and increased pressure, and we recognize that not every employee experienced those changes in a positive or consistent way. We take concerns around management quality, communication, and employee experience seriously. Creating an environment where people feel supported, respected, and clear on expectations is important to us, and feedback like yours reinforces the need for leaders at every level to communicate transparently and coach constructively. We also recognize the importance of strong cross-functional alignment and delivering meaningful outcomes for customers. Investments in product quality, customer experience, operational rigor, and leadership development continue to be major areas of focus for our company as we build for long-term success. At the same time, we remain incredibly optimistic about our future. We have talented teams across the organization who care deeply about our customers and our mission, and we know that continuing to listen, adapt, and improve is critical to becoming the kind of company people are proud to build their careers with. We appreciate your contributions during your time here and wish you the best moving forward. – Stephen Antuna, SVP of Account Management

Thank you for the kind words. This genuinely means a lot to us. We're proud of the caliber of leaders here and the pace at which we're embedding AI into how we work, so it's great to hear that comes through day-to-day. You're right that the macro environment is presenting challenges – we won't pretend otherwise. What we can control is continuing to move faster and smarter than our peers, and feedback like yours is a reminder of why the culture we've built is a competitive advantage in itself. We're glad you're part of it. – Jennifer Creticos, ZoomInfo Chief Business Officer

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad the pay, benefits, and office experience worked well for you. To be clear, though, the recent restructure was not targeted at remote employees. It reflected a strategic decision to restructure some of our sales and support operations as we shift how we approach certain segments of the business, both in terms of personnel and platform. The people affected were valued contributors and we recognize their work helped make ZoomInfo what it is today. The suggestion that in-office employees who stayed "don't know what they're doing" simply isn't accurate. Additionally, we go hard at the end of every month (which is true across SaaS sales broadly) but would push back on the characterization of the culture. Our employee engagement team works hard to make that sprint enjoyable, with in-office lunches and activities. Sales is a high-pressure environment by nature, and we're proud of the culture we've built around it. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, even where we see it differently. – Stephen Antuna, ZoomInfo SVP of Account Management
