Pros

-Quick path to promotion: Outbound SDR to closing roles (AE/AM) Expect that outlook to be around 9 months to 15 months depending on segment and performance. -1st in class training and enablement program: ZoomInfo arms you with one of the greatest training experiences a new face to sales can ask for. I myself had 0 sales experience at all coming in and in the 1st 3 months felt like a product expert. -Amazing workplace culture and values -Excellent benefits/compensation: Compensation only goes up as you move through the segments. 401k with match. Health insurance, vision insurance, HSA, ECT. -The best sales teammates in the world: My coworkers all feel like my friends. You'll find yourself building relationships that will last a lifetime. -Hybrid/Remote Options -Unlimited PTO and surplus sick time: PTO is typically easy to be approved as long as it is submitted in a timely fashion. Only exception is a few blackout dates. -Sustainable base pay along side commission -Product can nearly sell itself at times -Industry Leader and Pioneer: Competitors haven't even come close. ZoomInfo still prides itself as the only full GTM suite that's armed with tools that help in every single aspect of the revenue cycle. We continue to be the smartest option for companies that aim to find, acquire, and grow customers.

Cons

-Lack of communication for senior Leadership on workflow/career path changes. -SDR self sourced pipeline is often not tracked appropriately (does not affect compensation, although if you were trying to build a portfolio of deals you sourced that resulted in closed won opportunities it is more often than not tracked effectively. For example. Quotas/Bonus are based on completed goodfit meetings. These are tracked effectively typically. However if you were looking to see the dollar amount you sourced for the company for both pipe generated and closed won, its near impossible to see at the individual level.) -The closing team (AM's/AE's) often feel like they are on different pages from the SDR teams. It can be 50/50 depending on the specific team you work under but can be definitely frustrating when trying to be coordinated as an SDR.

Pros

ZoomInfo embraces new technologies and is willing to invest in modern tools and innovation. Strong performance and achievements are recognized and rewarded, creating opportunities for career growth. Senior leadership is highly accessible and transparent to work with, making it easy for employees to share ideas and feel heard. The company also operates in a fast-paced environment with no shortage of impactful work, making it a great place for people who enjoy staying challenged and continuously learning.

Cons

If I had to point to one thing ZoomInfo could do better, it would be the healthcare plans. They don't fully meet my personal needs, although I'm sure they work well for many others. Offering a more comprehensive range of plan options would make an already strong benefits package even better.

Pros

The company truly lives its core values: Be Relentless, Be Entrepreneurs, Be Experts, Be Innovators, and Be Team, which fosters a collaborative, ethical, and high-performing culture with very little office politics. Leadership is approachable, humble, and genuinely invested in its people, something I have rarely experienced in more than 20 years in the industry. The company invests in employee growth through learning opportunities, internal promotions, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, modern offices, and a healthy work-life balance. It has a strong foundation to be recognized among the top companies to work for. The company is also an early adopter of AI and continues to deliver cutting-edge technology, giving employees opportunities to innovate and make a meaningful impact. Overall, it is a great place to build a career.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, there are opportunities to continue evolving and maturing as the organization scales. Some startup-style processes and ways of working still exist, and there is an opportunity to further strengthen enterprise-level structure, processes, and accountability. The company has made significant progress since I joined, and continued focus on operational maturity, scalability, and consistency will help support the next phase of growth while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit and culture that make ZI unique.
