Pros

Great compensation - both base and commission Market leader for product Upward mobility

Cons

Unfortunately in the last 90 days, leadership has become laser focused on certain activity goals, and mid level management has turned this into new policies that are not conducive to a positive, great place to work. Our unlimited PTO policy has not been changed, but HR has told our managers that individuals can not take more than 20 days of PTO (including sick time). Not only do they not have to pay you out on accrued sick time, now they are limiting the time off (and this doesn’t include blackout dates for EOQ and the holiday season). Not sure why we have unlimited PTO, but then are getting rejected on requests bc we “took too many days”. I would understand if you were on a performance plan or close, not if you are considered a top performer. There has always been some level of micro-management, but the latest set of initiatives and policies feel as though they are watching your every move. It does not feel like there is any level of trust, even with high performers who are at the top of the leaderboards and should have earned the trust. Many of us are unhappy, and looking for new roles, which is truly unfortunate because when there is not as much micro-management, this truly is a great place to work. I hope my review will force some action from management to take a look at the micro management happening, making mid market R&G a toxic place to work.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that you've found aspects of your experience at ZoomInfo, such as compensation and opportunities for advancement, to be positive. However, we're concerned to learn about your experience with recent changes and the impact they've had on your perception of our workplace culture. In terms of our PTO policy, it covers Flexible Time Off (FTO), Paid Time-Off (PTO), Paid Sick Leave. You should be giving adequate advance notice to take FTO in accordance to our guidelines. Accrued paid sick leave in excess of 40 hours will not roll over into the next calendar year and unused paid sick time will not be paid out at the end of employment with the company which is the standard. Additionally, Great things are happening at ZI! It’s been an incredible journey since we went public in 2020, in the middle of a pandemic. And as you know. in about a month, we are launching a new AI-powered GTM game changer, ZoomInfo Copilot, that will make every seller the best seller. Our teams are laser-focused on first and foremost delivering a great product and then making sure that our Go-to-Market teams are armed with the right talk tracks, the right decks, the right accounts, and the right pricing and packaging to really accelerate our growth rates. Everyone is a part of this project - no matter what role you are in - and this is the future for us. Thank you again. Your input is invaluable as we work towards creating a better experience for all our employees.

Thank you for the kind words. This genuinely means a lot to us. We're proud of the caliber of leaders here and the pace at which we're embedding AI into how we work, so it's great to hear that comes through day-to-day. You're right that the macro environment is presenting challenges – we won't pretend otherwise. What we can control is continuing to move faster and smarter than our peers, and feedback like yours is a reminder of why the culture we've built is a competitive advantage in itself. We're glad you're part of it. – Jennifer Creticos, ZoomInfo Chief Business Officer

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad the pay, benefits, and office experience worked well for you. To be clear, though, the recent restructure was not targeted at remote employees. It reflected a strategic decision to restructure some of our sales and support operations as we shift how we approach certain segments of the business, both in terms of personnel and platform. The people affected were valued contributors and we recognize their work helped make ZoomInfo what it is today. The suggestion that in-office employees who stayed "don't know what they're doing" simply isn't accurate. Additionally, we go hard at the end of every month (which is true across SaaS sales broadly) but would push back on the characterization of the culture. Our employee engagement team works hard to make that sprint enjoyable, with in-office lunches and activities. Sales is a high-pressure environment by nature, and we're proud of the culture we've built around it. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, even where we see it differently. – Stephen Antuna, ZoomInfo SVP of Account Management
