Pros
* Great culture and WLB! I feel that I'm treated very well here. They do a good job of trying to move fairly quickly without putting too much pressure and stress on us (may depend on the specific team you're on). * Great pay, pretty good benefits. * Good people. I like my manager and all of my coworkers. And I have a good impression of Aicha and Jesse, although I haven't really interacted with them yet. * Pretty good tech stack. Appropriately high standards for the code and development processes, given the industry we're in. * Safety is taken extremely seriously, which is critical for this industry. * Interesting work.
Cons
* Some growing pains. They are trying to hire a lot of people and having decent success, but some positions are vacant for a while. * A lot of the people that laid the foundations early on have left; sometimes there are knowledge gaps due to this. * Some tools we use internally have frequent issues that can be frustrating and make it harder for me to be productive. * I dislike our 401k provider. Also, there's no 401k matching. * I hear complaints that top positions are too often filled by hiring new people rather than promoting from within. But I don't have firsthand experience of this since I've only been here about 1 year.
