Pros

Let me start off by saying I loved this company when I started in 2016. I came to Zynga after 10 Years in this industry and the people I started with were amazing and felt like a family by taking time to guide you through your first few days/weeks. With lots of titles, there is always something going on. The health Benefits, the WFH, when in the main office we had a lot of space, sick pay, all the good great stuff. Zynga can be an amazing place to work depending on the product you're on.

Cons

Imagine spending half a decade at a company that changes management with the seasons, Where they hire management that spend entire days watching Youtube and verbaly abusing those they are suppose to support. Where growth is locked depending on those you might work with and where every raise combined after 5 years doesn't even total to One Dollar. Imagine being told you are surpassing expectation on your yearly review and in the same breath being told that IF you do the same in the following year you MIGHT see a raise and Promotion, but not getting it when you do Surpass expectations again. Nearly everyone I worked with has quit. Management comes down hard yet they increase the amount of work we have and expect everything to get completed as if we are an army of 50 when its barely 5 of us on my team.

Pros

- Working at a leader in the mobile gaming industry is a huge plus on your resume. Plus, having the opportunity to work in gaming is fun. - Collaborating with some of the most smartest, creative and innovative people in the gaming/tech space - It's a great opportunity to learn mobile gaming and hone your skillset. Zynga has a strong inclusive culture and it can be very welcoming initially. You should always be learning at every stage of your career and you can definitely do so at the company - You can connect with some really cool people

Cons

- Pay was slightly below average and not always congruent/1:1 to your skillset and experience - Limited opportunities and typical corporate rhetoric/structure holds the company back from the next levels of success. Once you realize that you have no one really advocating for you to move up and or take on more responsibilities, you have to be honest about your future at the company. - Some management/teammates are egoistical and passive aggressive in their behavior towards certain employees and clear favoritism is shown. - The relationship you have with your manager will make or break your career, which is frustrating. If you have a manager that will look out for you/advocacte your career, you'll do fine. If you don't, you're stuck
