      Pros

      They will hire with very little experience. Can sometimes be a fun work environment and a good way to gain makeup experience for other things.

      Cons

      No upward mobility. After getting a grade A rating I was given a ten cent tip. Long hours and weekends on your feet for very little money.

      I absolutely loved working as a Beauty Advisor at Bare Escentuals! Great collaborative atmosphere. Lots of gratis. Fun work environment

      Good discount, nice to work for a "clean" beauty brand. Friendly, hardworking people across the business.

      Cons

      Not the most experienced creatives I worked with, even senior leadership lacked the vision to push boundaries creatively and elevate the brand. Multiple rounds of layoffs, apparently one a year (in the last three)
