Management lacks any kind of real-world sense. Decisions are made in bubbles and silos. No communication. They refuse to listen to their people and heed their guidance or needs. It's like talking to a wall that smiles and nods. Nepotism and favoritism abounds. Their management breaches their own Company Code of Conduct, and flaunts it. Most managers have never worked anywhere else, and lack important real-world experience outside. They spend thousands of dollars to save one dollar in a meaningless gesture. They allow the sales department to give everything away, and hold no accountability for them. They won't stand up for their employees, but are the first to help anyone throw their employees under the bus. In the flood of 2014, they forced their employees to work in an unsafe, flooded building. There is no opportunity to grow or advance in the company, because all management vacancies are filled at the Montreal office. Management is scared to do their own jobs properly, because they are constantly in fear of their bosses in Montreal.
