Pros

Working from home is a plus. There are some nice people with good intentions and everyone is positive all the time.

Cons

If you are considering a serious career in mental health services or the education field, look elsewhere. This company is not what it appears! I should have known that any Glassdoor profile with this many positive reviews (at the time I started zero reviews from sales people) was suspicious. Everyone at ELuma thinks they have the best jobs and are changing lives when in reality they are spam emailing districts and hoping someone needs a staffing agency to help backfill comp time. I can confirm that there was more turnover on the sales team after I left the company as well. ELuma thinks they are players in the education space but in reality no one has heard of them. Don’t believe the fluff!

Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts. While things didn't work out, we hope that you found a position that is a good fit. There are various roles and skills within the education space, which are needed to solve complex problems facing schools. Our company is committed to providing crucial services to schools and positively impacting students' lives.

Pros

Pros Timely pay including pay for indirect time; access to a variety of testing materials

Cons

Poor to no communication regarding contract renewals; weak on-site communication. Unfortunately, from personal experience, eLuma has weak communication with contractors regarding on-site issues as well as contract renewals. If they are not renewing your contract, they may not tell you (which was my case) and instead, when you inquire, you are just told "schools are signing late this year," completing evading what is going on. There was an instance of another remote therapist being assigned to the school on the same day, the same time, and using the same room as I was using which reflects poor communication with the site to manage this situation appropriately.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take clinician communication seriously, and we're sorry your experience with contract renewal and on-site coordination didn't reflect the standard we aim for. We've been actively improving our communication protocols around scheduling and renewal timelines heading into the next school year. We wish you well in your career.
