Cons
The management has very little (I'm being polite, because I'd like to say zero) respect for their employees, which is shown not only in how they often interrupt anyone below them during calls and meetings but also in the ridiculous demands they make without sufficient direction or feedback. "Management" is unfortunately unable to manage their employees or the projects they're working on. This is probably due to the fact that they are driven by money and their EBITDA standings and are not open to new ideas because "this is how we did it in the past and it worked." Here, the past is referring to the 90s. I'm sure it has nothing to do with their obsession with micromanaging everything to death. The worst however, is the fact that they don't see their employees as human beings, but as underappreciated minions whose only purpose is to make the company profitable. And when the company (i.e. management) makes poor decisions again and again (i.e. trying to publish unfinished games as quickly as possible for as little money as possible) and profits sink, they toss employees overboard. Without warning. Without a personal conversation. Then they hold meetings and say "All white guys, (it's actually 'alright guys', but the English pronunciation is atrocious.) we must remain profitable and we have to be ok with lower quality." (On second thought, maybe it IS "All white guys", since that describes the inner circle and is on par with their often misogynistic quips in inner circle meetings which I thankfully didn't have to endure too many times.) Well, maybe the lack of quality, integrity and transparency in all C-levels and top HR is a choice because they can't choose any differently. They are true to themselves.
