Pros
- You meet interesting people from varied backgrounds, whether fellow co-workers or learners. - It's not bad for fresh graduates or those who are just starting out. - Their IT/Helpdesk Support do their best and are helpful. - My current Trainer Manager is hard working and is one of the few willing to take time to listen to his employees. Note that there are different Trainer Managers for different shifts, I can't comment for other Managers in other departments or upper management.
Cons
- It's easy to get de-motivated from their "Standards" evaluations of your lessons. The Standards are too boxed in and make teaching robotic. There also seems to be a disconnect on how it actually measures "performance" - There seems to be high employee turnover. - No pay increases and/or an almost impossible to meet "bonus scheme" - No long term benefits in the long run. - Direct answers to questions are often evaded, even if their Core Company Values includes "transparency" which doesn't appear to be reflected in upper management response.
