Pros
Flexible hours (starting as early as 3:30 am if you like). Interested, professional clients willing to learn. Good resources to use for training. Caring, knowledgeable help desk personnel Immediate manager helpful (but so overloaded, you don't want to bother them)
Cons
Virtually no pay increases, so you must be happy with starting salary. Ever increasing performance metrics resulting in robotic lessons. Trainer submitted to severely graded Quarterly Audits creating high levels of stress. Company encourages working off the clock to finish reports after each lesson. No compensation for trainer supplied internet, computer, headset, microphone, software updates etc. No benefits whether you work for the company for 2 months or 6 years. Company asks for employees to work extra hours during busy times but provides no increased incentive pay. When times are slow, there is no compensation. This cannot be a job where you need the money to pay monthly bills.
