10yGood afternoon! Hi, my name is Warren, honeygrow's Director of Talent Management. I am most definitely sure you have better things to do with your time then write a review on this site, so “thank you” for taking the time out of your day. I would say that I definitely agree with you in terms of the “pros” of honeygrow. We are expanding quickly and we pride ourselves on encouraging promotions and internal movement from within the company.
I will admit that our starting pay rate can be a little on the low side, but we are definitely competitive in the fast casual industry. What we do offer is an amazing training program where any employee in their first year has a chance to increase their hourly rate by 20-25%, just by learning our different stations.
You did mention no benefits being available to folks, which honestly is just not true. We offer voluntary benefits to team members who work over 20 hours a week, we offer medical to team members who work over 30 hours a week, and even a 401K plan once you have worked 250 hours with the company.
