Pros

Lots of room to experiment with ideas if you get the right book of clients. Fairly flexible when it came to work hours. OK benefits.

Cons

This company had a serious culture problem. People were quitting on an almost weekly basis toward the end of my tenure. Diversity and inclusion efforts were nonexistent to the point of offensive. Management didn't seem to know how to set up their teams for success. It was never clear to me if it was because of a lack of budget from the parent company or lack of will to get professional development for themselves. It was sad because I think a lot of people at that company had potential to do really innovative work but were stalled by ineffective decision-making.

Great team of people working to make email marketing easy for the customer.

Cons

The biggest negative about working at iContact has been the uncertainty that occurs when the company is purchased or merged with another company and that changes that come of it
