Pros
Amazing Product, great culture, great people. I have been at iDashboards for 8 years and have seen the growth and development and witnessed personally the ups and (very few) downs. I have been selling software for 18 years and by far this is the greatest product I have ever sold. Customers love it and it really does change the way they make decisions which ultimately streamlines their business. Having a product that does this gives a salesperson the added confidence that is extremely helpful. The owner of iDashboards has gone out of his way to create a working culture that is hard working but also fun and this has been appreciated. The support teams pre-sales, on-site consultants and technical support are the best that I have ever worked with. Amazing people who help drive sales. If you are a seasoned sales person you have a great chance at success and it you are just getting into software sales you can learn a lot and be very successful too ($$$$).
Cons
Some of the cons would start with a few years ago iDashboards might have been too ambitious in hiring sales people. Hiring more bodies doesn't not always result in more business. Selling software is selling an idea and then putting a price on the value of this idea. It is very difficult and unfortunately iDashboards suffered many sales people leaving unfulfilled and dissatisfied. They have recognized this and have been more selective (in my opinion) in hiring sales people in the last year. Less sales people results in more to go around for the ones that have proven their value. Also having two teams selling different version of iDashboards was an issue and thankfully they combined this and know let all sales people sell everything, but before they changed this it hurt the process of selling (in my opinion).
