Pros

My experience so far with this company has been mostly positive. I come from a large sales background, which I will say, was helpful coming in because most of the training is product focused when you first start. That being said, the training was great coming into the job and the office is full of people that TRULY want to see you succeed. They will help when you need it and have all been extremely helpful thus far. I've been in other jobs where your teammates are only out to see themselves succeed and could care less about how you perform. This company is the exact opposite due to being so small and employee owned. The employees are constantly shaping the culture of the company and are asked regularly for insight into how things can be done differently and better. You don't get that level of communication at a lot of places. This is truly a job that if you work hard at it, good things can happen and you can further the growth of a small company, as well as yourself. However, if you expect things to just fall in your lap and expect success will come easy, this probably isn't the best place for you. Aside from the office environment and culture, they take care of their employees. It's the first company I have worked for that truly will invest in non work functions that are fun for the entire family, just to bring us all a bit closer. Very little micro management.

Cons

This is a true sales gig and you probably won't be successful if you've never sold anything in your life. You have to work REALLY hard at it and be on the phone as much as possible. If you don't know how to effectively communicate, work within a team, or know how to ride the wave of ups and downs in a sales cycle to yield better results, it's probably not for you. There are some process opportunities in regards to having a standard operating procedure for internal operations, but I think as the company grows, we'll get there.

Pros

I worked two different roles at iDashboards, and always knew what was expected of me. Management was respectful and thoughtful. It was a positive experience.

Cons

Defining an overall direction of the company was tough while I was there, but that has since been solved.

Pros

The company truly cares about work/life balance. Very flexible on WFH, employees going back to school, needing to pick up kids from daycare early, etc. A great place to learn about the industry. Everyone is helpful and wants to see you succeed. The technical teams are outstanding. Low turnover, smart people, clients love them. Many changes over the years but they have been in the best interest of the company. Just roll with them. Great people work here. It is never a drag to go into the office. HR plans a lot of fun team building activities, lunches, holiday celebrations that everyone enjoys.

Cons

Low base pay on the sales team causes high turnover. This could be fixed with a higher base or better commission structure. There were was a group of negative people there at one time (most are gone - and honestly they are the type that aren't happy at any job). If you work hard and ignore it you will be fine. Development NEEDS a change. The product lacks innovation and is not keeping up with competition. One person should not be allowed to say and do whatever they feel like without any checks/balances. CEO is a great person who cares about his employees but unfortunately seems to be more reactive than proactive when it comes to product enhancements.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate the feedback and would like to take the time to respond to a few points in particular: Pay: iDashboards offers employees generous/marketable compensation packages. We are continuously reviewing our comp packages to confirm they are competitive and fair. Development: We have a lot of excitement surrounding our software development - with the upcoming release of 9.5 and the addition of personnel resources on the development team.
