Pros
You meet great people, coworkers in this position are fun and everyone typically gets along. Although, there is lots of drama and gossip with coworkers and the workplace is the most unprofessional environment I’ve worked in so far.
Cons
Higher management believes this position is dispensable and everyone can be easily replaced, this has been stated in an email sent to the street team. We were also told this position has a “shelf life.” They do not give raises, they pay the bare minimum. We rarely, if ever, had the chance for breaks in long shifts, sometimes up to 15 hour days, yet would get called out if breaks were not entered into our time tracking system. Some paystubs came up short and didn’t include overtime. In the interview phase, we were told there were career and advancement opportunities, yet there were none.
