Pros
Immediate teams and management were wonderful to work with, creating a culture focused on customer-centric work, flexibility, and personal growth.
Cons
Outside your team, it was the same old top-down corporate management style with no room for true innovation, despite endless platitudes about disrupting the industry and leaning in on new technologies. Leadership is stuck in their successes of 20-30 years ago and largely doesn’t make decisions backed with data from those in the company who try to make customer understanding their bread and butter. Annual layoffs also make it difficult to work and have any continuity, and there’s no accountability from executive leadership for poor performance, despite that every direction (or lack thereof) comes from the top.
