Pros

Very employee-guided, meaning they want to know what is going on and how people are feeling about there job. Fairly relaxed environment, never feel rushed. A good push to promote from within. Not very much heavy lifting at all, but you do lift quite a few things throughout the day. Offer plenty of incentives - yearly bonus, yearly gift, weekly incentive pay

Cons

Some places tend to hit you upside the head with safety but feel Iherb lacks in the "safety conscious" department, not that it is an unsafe place, but one of the weaker places when it comes to over-all safety and reiteration there-of. They do want to listen, but there isn't an easy way of letting them know - direct management contact (which can be awkward to anyone) and email (which may or may not go noticed).

Pros

iHerb pays 100% of medical benefits for you and your immediate family. They are generous with vacation accruals. Salaries are generous.

Cons

The company continues to operate with a small-business, "mom-and-pop" mentality despite its growth. Leadership is highly centralized, with most decisions driven by the CEO. Employees often perceive that those who are not viewed favorably by leadership are eventually managed out of the organization. There is a culture of fear around speaking up, as many employees worry about potential negative consequences to their employment. Favoritism among leaders is frequently observed, and advancement opportunities can be limited for individuals who are not part of the preferred inner circle.
