Pros
Addressing a big need in the life insurance space.
Cons
Out of touch leadership. The exec team and managers pretend they want input, but the reality is if you're not part of the "in-crowd" or one of their cliques, your opinion just doesn't matter. Some people set up for success and untouchable, others set up for failure and always at a disadvantage. Constant blame-games and politics among departments, while completely ignoring obvious problems (and people, especially in key positions). Decisions get made in a vacuum, with no one validating the assumptions built into the plans. Why hire smart and talented people and then completely ignore them and shut them down? Top-down dictatorial culture pretending at empowerment and inclusion. Company has a split personality culture.
