Pros
What has kept me engaged at iRhythm is the combination of a mission that matters and the people behind it. It's hard not to be motivated when you know the work ultimately helps patients receive timely cardiac care.
I've had the opportunity to work with incredibly smart, dedicated colleagues across Commercial, Clinical, Product, Marketing, Operations, and beyond. There is a strong culture of collaboration, and people are generally willing to roll up their sleeves to solve problems together.
From an Enablement perspective, there's also a real opportunity to influence the business. I've been trusted to lead large-scale initiatives, partner directly with senior leaders, and help shape how we train, develop, and support the field. If you're someone who enjoys building, improving processes, and driving change, there are plenty of opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
Cons
Like many growing healthcare organizations, iRhythm is constantly evolving. Priorities can shift, teams are often balancing multiple important initiatives, and resources don't always scale as quickly as the work.
The company is also navigating the realities of operating in a highly regulated environment, which is necessary and important, but can sometimes slow decision-making and create complexity when trying to move quickly. At times, there can be competing priorities across functions, making it challenging to align on what matters most.
For people who thrive on structure and predictability, the pace of change may feel frustrating. For those who are comfortable with ambiguity and change, it's generally easier to navigate.
