Room for advancement seems to be shrinking. Restructuring continuously happening which gives the appearance of promotional roles disappearing and more work falling into "new" roles which are essentially not new at all and just roles merging. Climbing up the ranks that are available are not even worth it as there are not bonus incentives for all roles. Oddly enough the non-promotional roles are the roles you will make the most in when you consider the little pay increase given for the promotion and the fact that you no longer will qualify for incentives. Being a top performer normally would mean climbing to the top but when you can make more scanning why would you!
