Pros

Everyone is about the business and very ENGAGED in the daily functions. Employees IDEAS are not stifled, Employees are ENCOURAGED to lend to process improvements because it is to the employees' BENEFIT. Continual LEARNING and always busy. Laptops for FLEXIBILITY! You not only leave feeling like you made a DIFFERENCE but you don't mind coming back. Wonderful co-workers is also a great feature. FLEXIBILITY! The company does many drives and events for several causes in and out of state. The execs try to know everyone by name which is NICE. You are not just that random person in the breakroom. The company ENCOURAGES eating healthy and exercise even though they are always buying food? I could go on because they really want to make you feel apart of the company on day one.

Cons

All companies have issues. If you have more than one person involved in anything you will have issues. What differentiates a good company from say a less desirable is. A good company acknowledges that it has issues and works to resolve or at least minimize them. It is my belief ifm does this currently.

While this can create a feeling of community for those who align closely with leadership expectations, it may feel less welcoming to individuals who value independent thinking or outside perspectives.

Cons

For some, the cultural intensity can verge on insularity, with a few observers informally comparing it to a "true believer" environment. Company events and traditions are frequent and lively, but may feel performative rather than inclusive to those who have not spent their entire careers with the company. Within the company there is a clear ambition to align with modern tech industry standards. But the company's foundations in industrial manufacturing continue to strongly influence its culture and operations. This heritage provides stability, but also limits the speed and flexibility associated with true technology-driven organizations. Overall, while the workplace appears friendly and committed on the surface, prospective employees should take time to evaluate whether the culture’s strong internal focus and industrial paced product development supports their long-term career growth.
