Pros

I worked for this company over 4 1/2 years. The nGroup team did an excellent job developing me through training, management tools and support. The company is based on performance through accountability, efficiency, establishment of metrics, accountability and training. There is a great opportunity for growth and the company promotes training and the use of technology. I advanced in management within a years’ time and was rewarded for hard work and performance. Colleagues are treated fairly and given the freedom to manage while being measured. Actually there is not much micro-management at all and the company places high levels of trust in the management team to demonstration ownership. This works well for those that indeed have the owner mentality as well as the discipline to conduct business based on ownership principles. Team members are treated as owners. This company has given me multiple tools and vital skill sets while I provided the willingness to learn, execute and pass along these elements to others. As a response to an earlier review; it is quite easy to pass blame when the one passing blame is not performing to the anticipated level as a key member of operations. Excuse making is not the way to get the job done in a get the job done environment.

Cons

As with any small company resources are limited therefore for advancement travel is necessary. These growing pains are standard for a company that is spreading its wings. As the company grows more opportunities in various locations will become available.
