Pros
I left due to a personal reason. This is an amazing company. * Hack Day - one day fornightly to work on something you like. * Flexible working environment. * Every one gets the opportunities to contribute to important technical designs. * Managers try their best to help you. * A lot of interesting and chanllanging problems to solve. * Colleagues are friendly and willing to help, people aim to solve problems rather than passing the buck. * Work life balance. * Best gear to use.
Cons
Since the company is in the interim period to transfer from start-up to a medium size company, things need to sort out including * Career progression - it is still not clear how to climb the ladder. * A lot of projects need to be worked on. Sometimes it is frustrating to work on the projects alone. * You would need to learn the domain knowledge yourself, no one is able to help you most of time, especially GIS knowledge. Company doesn't seem to have resources to invest in this area which may cause bugs in the products because no one knows if the features work correctly. * High turnover rate in certain departments, so there is knowledge gap in certain area.
