Pros

Excellent product, gaining some real traction in the U.S market against current competitors. Becoming seen as the cost effective alternative with many pros against the current market leader for many small/medium enterprises. Expanding image coverage gaining new interest daily from untapped markets.

Cons

Lack of technical support team in the U.S as its all out of Australia for now. This is not a huge con but as the U.S operations continues to grow at its rapid pace then it would be wise for them to invest in a technical support team here.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we are sorry that your experience with Nearmap has you feeling this way and doubting the company that you work for. We understand that we’re not perfect, however we strive to be a place where employees enjoy working and are proud of where we’re headed. We make every effort to be transparent in the direction of our organization through our company-wide standup. There is a clear statement of our long-term strategy and the company’s quarterly priorities are visible on the Kanban board and re-iterated at the standup. There’s a learning effort on our part as we navigate through growth and changes and the new values are reflective of our efforts to continually improve as an organization. We appreciate your feedback to help guide us along the way and encourage you to reach out to a member of HR or the executive team.

Pros

I had great autonomy to work with my customers and present my customer plans and renewal plans to upper leadership. Low to no interference most of the time.

Cons

I didn't get to travel as much as I wanted.

Pros

Excellent product, Lehi, UT staff, technical support

Cons

Redundant leadership, never know who’s in charge. Redundant processes, constant shifts in focus. Limited investment outside of insurance vertical. “Grow at all costs” strategy from years past coming back to bite org. Too many cooks in the kitchen. No legitimate mechanism for front-line sales to engage with senior leadership.
