Pros
The people I worked directly with were great to work with. They were helpful and understanding. I was always treated with respect and seen as a peer by members of my department, despite being new to the field and to my job.
Cons
The company would make verbal commitments they couldn't follow through on. Despite a decent salary, the benefits were severely lacking. Casually racist, sexist, or homophobic comments/jokes, although infrequent, go unchecked.
