Pros

Office is nice and the benefits are decent. 401k matching is vested from day 1.

Cons

Management is network if good old boys who lack basic leadership skills. There is no strategy, communication, or support from management. Management has no knowledge of market conditions or how to sell their products. They expect their employees to not only figure this out all on their own, but to solve major problems without the help of their superiors. If you bring major issues to their attention or need help, you are seen as weak. Rather than dealing with major issues, they would rather get rid of you and hire someone else who is none the wiser. Nobody who works at symplr can figure out how the company is still in business or how they were able to swindle investors for money to keep the company afloat. If you care about making a difference in your job and want to help a company grow, this is not the role for you.

Pros

I've really enjoyed working here because of the supportive culture and the flexibility of working from home. The team is collaborative, management is approachable, and I've had plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities within my role. If you enjoy continuous learning and a positive work environment, it's a great place to work.

Cons

The biggest downside is the limited opportunities for career advancement. It can be difficult to move up or receive title changes, even after taking on additional responsibilities. Compensation also tends to be below market compared to other companies offering similar roles and responsibilities, which can make it challenging to stay long-term.
