Pros
Consistent with wasting high quality people’s time, misleading prospective employees & bring unprofessional overall.
Cons
I see I’m not the only one. Thank God. Waste of time 100%. For sake of privacy, I won’t say names. But…someone had me come interview twice. The first interview was great; went over job description, built basic rapport, discussed expectations etc. Upon conclusion of the interview, I was presented with a job offer and choice of two compensation plans (one with a decent base salary of $55,000/year + commission & the other with $15/hr x 40hrs a week with a higher commission structure.) I chose the salary deal. So I was told I’ll start on 2/28/22 (mind you the first interview was 2/7/22. None the less, the person who interviewed me and their assistant both contacted me within the three week time span to confirm I’ll come to the second interview and also show up for my first day. My second interview occurred just a three few days before the expected start date 2/28 and was more of a follow up/review. We were all seemingly on the same page and I was fully prepared to start the following Monday 2/28. I had cut off all prior engagements and began anticipating doing the job. THEN the day after my second interview, I get a phone call from some random assistant from the company claiming that “unfortunately the compensation plan we signed & agreed on isn’t being offered anymore &…and that I’d have to switch back to the $15/hr role or they’ll revolve the entire offer.” I was appalled that a company would have someone come in twice, follow up diligently, offer a salary, provide you with assurance for your start & then right before everything’s about to begin; take it all away and completely change up the terms. I’m a highly qualified and experienced person. This was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I wouldn’t bother if I was you. Trashy break room. Sloppy employees. Unorganized call center. Crammed. Crowded. Taco Bell and Target would treat you better.
