Pros

-PTO policy is decent. Employees are allowed to take time off if needed.

Cons

My experience was not the most positive. I got hired under the notion that the environment would be one that is similar to a family and very supportive. I was also told that the management I'd be given would be hands-on, since I did not have any prior experience. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. I didn't feel like the salary, benefits, work environment and company culture was enough for me to want to work in this position. Benefits are much more expensive than other companies since the company is a startup. If I chose to utilize all benefits, then more than half my monthly salary would go to it. The work environment/culture was not necessarily spectacular or supportive. My salary was a little below average in comparison to other companies. There is more to say and elaborate, but this would take forever. This is a very honest review-- I am not saying it's extremely horrific, but my experience was far from positive. It was very dull working there, management/leadership needs work, and benefits and salary are subpar.

Pros

Overall great place, the culture is amazing, You learn a lot and fast. If you are not wiling to put the work in, you will see results. Patience and keeping your head up is what brings success in the mortgage industry.

Cons

None to Say, I left to pursue what I studied in school for.

Pros

Great pay. Great potential. I was super excited to be given the opportunity, provided I had been honest in my interview about not having experience in DSCR loans. I was extended a job offer regardless, and I felt I was going to make that next step in my career.

Cons

Training was lackluster. They stuck me with a manager who, although was very sweet, was being pulled in a million different directions, and did not have time to focus solely on training me. I was left to my own devices most of the time and told to "read my notes", as she had her own funding roles to fulfill. A lot of my questions went unanswered or did not get answered right away, and by my 2nd week I was very much feeling as though I had been set up for failure. I begged for extra help only to be met with, "you should know this by now".
