Pros

Ubreakifix is an awesome company work for them! If it's outside of Arkansas. Work for the Florida locations. But make sure the franchise owners aren't ash bags and liars

Cons

The work load. You will work hard for that paycheck. Customers. You will be yelled at. For just mentioning a advertised price lol. Owners that don't know how to fix any personal device but expect you to listen to them for the process and inner working of a REPAIR STORE lol. Listen. this review is only for the Arkansas ubreakifix stores. Don't work for them if you want to be happy, I mean unless you like donkeys complaining about everything when they come in the store or picking out "bonus kills" that - are normal issues(broken parts/ mad customers/ dirty back of house) at any ubif store just to take your bonus away, that you're supposed to get because you made them money! lol don't work for liar hustlers. That won't even buy the employees a pizza for motivation or thanks when the manager is buying 15 weekly to take to marketing phone carriers. Or buy some water bottles for the techs because they think the employees can drink sink water lol they cost dollars :/ cheap cheap littlerock owners :/ This post isn't referring to Ubreakifix as a overall company..

Pros

- Fast Paced, plenty to keep even the busiest hands occupied. - Room to learn an industry that will survive for as long as technology exists. - Some experience can translate well in other fields. - Good opportunity to earn commission through sales if requirements are met.

Cons

- If you are ONLY interested in a tech/tech repair focused position, this is not the job for you. Unless you have a decade of experience you will be expected to make sales, bargain for reviews, and go above and beyond at all times to increase store sales. - MASSIVE barriers to earn commissions. - No PTO - No sick days - No upward movement except for extrordinary circumstances. - Falls short of other employers in terms of compensation. - No raises whatsoever once you finish training. - Shady grey-area business practices, straddling the line of breach of contract with partnerships at some points. - You will be asked to lie, mislead, cheat, and manipulate not only customers, but the very partners that keep your stores in business. The partners of uBreakiFix (mainly Asurion) have to constantly update the terms and rules of their partnerships because you are expected to take complete advantage of every single customer that walks in your doors. If you have any sort of moral compass whatsoever, look somewhere else. The best way to survive at uBreakiFix is to KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN. They don't require experience, but expect to be thrown to the wolves as soon as your 90-days are up. Hit the ground running, keep your head down, and make sure your hands are clean at the end of the day.
