      Low morale at a company which was once one of the top companies to work for

      Pros

      The people are very good. It's rare to find someone who is difficult to work with. Although benefits have been getting worse, what they have still quite good. The bonus, pension, and health benefits are quite good...for now.

      Cons

      After waves of layoffs, outsourcing, and lack of wage increases and promotions, morale is so low that it is palpable. Upper management seems oblivious to this fact.

      Pros

      Fantastic compensation, supportive culture, and interesting work.

      Cons

      Enbridge is a place where you can only succeed if you either keep your head down to avoid rocking the boat or fully engage in the corporate politics to the detriment of productivity and excellence. This is absolutely not a company for anyone who wants to achieve great things, unless that thing is climbing a corporate ladder. Enbridge is a place where great ideas and people crushed into submission to fit the mold.
