      Unfortunately this hospital is falling apart. Haven't been able to rebound from new Rehab that opened up in market.

      Pros

      Good patient care. Use to be the best in the industry- may or may not be now. Decent vacation allowance and great health benefits. Negotiate pay upfront, don't accept 1st offer.

      Cons

      Employees that don't set boundaries and that are talented get taken advantage of in all departments. Many employees have left for competitor in the market and though HealthSouth tries to make them feel that they will hate it there, employees are actually quite happy and make significant more money.

      -Some excellent therapists and doctors that are a pleasure to work with -Good team communication -Very clean facilities

      Cons

      -Compensation could be better -Often catty office politics -Nursing is always understaffed, often intentionally by management it seems

      The Administrative is from the Good Ole Boy era and if you don't play their way you will be gotten rid of.

      Pros

      The work they do for the client is great and the best there is. But they only take care of the staff they like. As long as you play the way they say and make NO mistakes you are in and taken care of, but make ONE mistake or rock the boat and they start making it hard on you and just looking for reasons to write you up and get rid of you.

      Cons

      They don't play fair with others unless you are a member of the Good Ole' Boy's Club.
