Pros

Awesome management and room for advancement IF YOU PUT IN THE EFFORT. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews as there are tons of employees that have been here 5+ years that want to make a career here. The bank has made a lot of technological advancements recently that benefit contractors, customers, and employees. The benefits are really good, generous 401k, relatively heap help insurance, generous tuition reimbursement (recently increased $ per year), average/slightly above average PTO that gets better with tenure. Ability and autonomy to work from home for mid-high level employees. Bank is doing very well during Covid-19, in fact we have been hiring a lot more people across multiple levels of the bank. Great place to work while in college and have the bank pay a significant portion of your tuition along the way.

Cons

The current building is old, however we are moving into a beautiful, brand new office building near the Grand America downtown in 2021.

Pros

Once you learn how everything works, it's pretty simple. They bring in treats frequently, and if you're in the top performing lenders each month, then you can get a free meal. It's a really relaxed environment and as long as you get all your work done for each application, you can really do whatever you want (homework, netflix, etc.) All application calls are inbound, so people generally want to talk to you.

Cons

Not a ton of positive interaction with supervisors. It's customer service oriented, so you will have to deal with grouchy people sometimes.
