Pros
As an engineering company, ENERCON's most important resource is its people, and I couldn't be happier with the people I work with. In my project management leadership role I work with directors, managers, supervisors, engineers, designers/drafters, and administrative staff, and my experience has always been great. ENERCON is always growing and expanding its presence in new markets and with new clients, which opens opportunities for staff to get promoted and move from division to other based on career interests and fit. As of 2023 I've been with the company for 10+ years and will stay much longer as long as we're performing that well!
Cons
Like any engineering consultancy firm, ENERCON focuses on making sure employees are busy and effectively working on projects. Some employees joining from utilities or other work environments may feel this puts pressure on them, but others enjoy the challenge of remaining engaged and billable on our clients' projects. I love it as it helps the company perform better and keeps me satisfied.
