      Pros

      Every project is different. Salary and employee owned stock options are great for employees that will stay with the company for awhile

      Cons

      Fluctuating work load. Poor management oversight and unwilling to "get your back" when dealing with difficult clients. Company acts cheap with everything from office supplies, company lunches to lack of conferences and training. with new reorganization in January, company is VERY top heavy. No clear path for the future with Nuclear business slowing down, thus two rounds of layoffs within weeks of each other.

      Good Engineers, Stressful work

      Pros

      Health benefits are okay. Stock program and salary are nice. People in satellite office are (were) a strong team, while the HQ sounds undesirable and stifled by a corporate attitude. Good place for a self-starting workhound to stay busy. If you're lucky or play your cards right, you can even charge for overtime that you work.

      Cons

      Lack of training, software, and a management team which is either dishonest or oblivious. Demanding clients, weak project management, and scant resources leaves even a strong engineering staff out to dry.

      Pros

      Good pay and zero accountability if you want to be a slacker or stay under the radar.

      Cons

      No training or career development, horrendous mid level leadership, horrendous HR and training department. Good ole boys club with certain groups (cheifs) not contributing to the bottom line yet aren’t held accountable. Gain share is non existent and it’s easy to see some of the recent reviews were generated during the mgt meeting to help boost the companies score. Read through them and you can hear the same corporate BS lines. “Succession plans” are used sometimes and ignored in others. Certain managers have been identified as problem managers yet the company decides to retain them while claiming they are worried about retention. It’s all in the plan to get employees to leave so they never accumulate any shares. Company also will not post relevant financial information (cash positions, cash flow, balance sheets) yet claim we are all owners.
