ESOP culture allows sharing with all employees. Pay scales are great.

Cons

Advancement might be slow but ESOP provides a big incentive to stay and build.

Pros

Coworkers are very nice and helpful, the office environment is friendly, and there's free food at most meetings. Most of the managers are competent, and the business is well run.

Cons

There's little room for advancement, the pay isn't great for the admin staff (much higher for engineers), and the workload can be very inconsistent (feast or famine).

Pros

The people are the best part of ENERCON. Most of the engineers there are high performers so they keep you on your toes. The flexibility for work schedule and different opportunities is great. The profit sharing in the form of the employee stock ownership program has made a great contribution towards retirement.

Cons

There is a disconnect between engineers in the trenches and the expectations of upper management. There doesn't seem to be much opportunity for advancement due to a very large pool of younger engineers and few management spots to move up into.
