      Pros

      If in power delivery, staff is personable and easy to work with. Hybrid schedule with 9/80. reimbursement to personal credit card for travel expenses. Supplies WFH setup.

      Cons

      Larger departments are a mess - senior engineers are not willing to support younger engineers. Not many resources for obtaining support in a timely manner because they are too flexible in letting seniors come in whenever. Compensation levels are low until about 5 years experience. Overall lack of work - terrible for a consulting firm.

      Pros

      Your fellow engineers are your friends, and were absolutely my favorite part of work. The team itself was full of charming, intelligent engineers who wanted to get things done.

      Cons

      The management is incompetent. Underbidding on projects constantly and shouldering increased loads on staff. Two rounds of layoffs as client stock drops and attrition towards management increases. Pay is not competitive, and the only raise I got in 2 years working there was less than 2%. Turnover extremely high, very few people on the staff level stay longer than 1-2 years. Consultant-based timesheets lead to minute-by-minute scrutiny of productivity, de-humanizing staff. Do not work here.
