Pros
Salaries are more than competitive. Engineers are competent and hard working. Engineering consulting has a variety of different projects, by its nature. ENERCON was a awesome place to work for many years.
Cons
The company has lost its way. Two to three years back they hired a level of management from outside that has insulated the upper management from the engineers doing the work. Nothing passes this level in either direction so that the little information provided in the monthly meetings is all anyone not a director or above knows about the senior leadership teams vision, if they have one. Silos and division among teams are created and fostered while lip service is given to teamwork. New ideas are squashed while management stands behind practices that have caused employees to leave by droves. It's a good company and can recover, but no efforts are being made to do anything but reward management by getting uncompensated work from the engineers. Client focus is great, but employee focus is now nonexistent.
