Pros

Flexible, positive, great environment. If you get your job done reliably, you are treated with a ton of professionality and respect.

Cons

They'll adjust incoming new hire salaries to market demand but then all the sudden the people who are doing the most will be making what a new hire makes. They do not give raises when you take a lead position; only on your annual review. With this company no longer being employee-owned with stock for people who stay, there's not much incentive to stay and take on more work when your salary increase is minimal compared to the work you take on. Good people will stay because they have a good environment - but then again, a lot will also leave, and it makes it harder on the people that *do* stay.
