Great organization with tons of opportunity to learn the industry
Pros
Growth-oriented. They don't take a lot of risks, and a majority of their acquisitions and organic growth pays off, which in turn contributes to higher success sharing and job security. There are a lot of opportunities for special projects.
Cons
There is room for advancement, but there's an unspoken "glass ceiling" above grades 7 or 8, in which people are selected from the inner circle. They know who they are and you end up knowing who they are, too. Management has shifted and now seem to be hiring people with less competence and experience as almost an assurance that they can better mold them into the sort of subordinate they desire. It's a little disheartening for those that appear to be "next in line," but might end up being "too good" for the promotion.
