Pros

Great people to work with

Cons

CEO pushes everyone to come back to the office yet most of the office employees sit behind a computer and could work from anywhere. Logic?

Pros

1) Pockets of greatness with exceptional people. 2) Leadership has a bold vision to try to drag an established business in a mature field into the modern era through innovation and design. 3) Flexible working hours for salary individuals.

Cons

1) Extremely cost sensitive to a fault. We market a premium product at a premium price, but aren't willing to reduce the strong margins to put truly premium features into our products. 2) Too many managers, not enough workers at times. 3) Benefits are mid-pack, at best. Medical, 401k, and bonus plans are all offered. Bonuses are hampered mightily by very aggressive metrics. Raises match inflation and are maybe 1% above inflation for employees who get a better than average rating.

Pros

Good work life balance most of the time. Coworkers are friendly. The on-site gym and trainer are a nice asset.

Cons

There is not a lot of room to grow your career at Enerpac. There is no clear career path to advance your career and management doesn’t focus on that area. It’s rare to see promotions from within. Product managers all have a technical background so there are very limited opportunities to grow as a marketing professional. The CEO gets too involved in the product roadmap instead of going off of what the market needs.
