ability to add value through projects, creative solutions company wants to use my knowledge and expertise company is making difficult but necessary changes in order to rebuild

Cons

people are struggling right now with the changes happening in leadership some people are stuck in their ways we're beginning to move towards truly being a global company, but not quickly enough

down-to-Earth and hardworking bunch of folks (overall); some people have been with the company their entire careers; interesting products and diverse business units; some people are truly dedicated to making the company a better place.

Cons

3 CEOs in 3 years; management leads thru fear and intimidation; routinely pays below market and fails to deliver on bonus promises; HR team needs significant improvement from the top down; fitness center at the corporate building costs money to use; even when people don't get bonuses they are pressured to donate to UPAF and United Way.

Actuant is a company that recognizes high performance and creates opportunities for employees to achieve. As with many larger companies it is not a political organization and if you have an idea someone is always asking what are your ideas. If you give 150% and drive results doors will open for you.

Cons

Being a smaller organization resources are always limited so you have to learn to do more with less.
