Pros

Pay is decent. The people here are nice as well, for the most part.

Cons

Dirty, dangerous, poor training culture, poorly maintained building and machines, lack of interest in retaining labor. They're endlessly hiring because people either get sick of not being heard when they have issues with their work day that need correcting, or find their working conditions intolerable. The shop is unbearably hot in the summer, the roof leaks, there is oil and coolant everywhere and it seems like the walls and ceiling haven't been cleaned in decades. The machines are ancient, missing buttons, bolts, rivets, screws, and run on faith and luck instead of proper maintenance. Mandatory Saturdays for some of the plant but not all is a problem as well because they can't make production schedules due to many of the aforementioned problems.

Pros

Great pay, flexible schedule, always something to keep you busy. The owner is an amazing man whom I greatly miss

Cons

Unless they have made changes to management, it wouldn’t surprise me if most of the employees cycle through quite often.

Pros

Great flexibility with scheduling weekends. They have an attendance bonus program that pays you for showing up for work. New automation equipment which is great to learn about. The people are awesome. They have a safety committee that has greatly impacted the overall safety in the shop.

Cons

Some equipment is old and does break down. But management does a great job identifying the issues and fixing the problem as quickly as possible.
