Pros

England Logistics is a great place to work. I've been here for two years now and don't have much to complain about (but stick around for the Cons section anyway). The company genuinely cares about their employees, which is something you can feel as you walk through the building, each executive giving you a smile and greeting as they pass by. We have full benefits, free soda, some bagels, and some not-too-overly-priced goodies in what is called the Avanti Market. It's very easy to find yourself developing relationships with coworkers as the days go by. We have some great people here. I would recommend working at England Logistics.

Cons

There's really only one big con to working at England Logistics. The drug policy is archaic. It's as if whoever wrote the policy is stuck in 1936 watching reefer madness, thinking that weed leads to complete and total insanity. While I understand wanting to make sure your employees aren't high on Heisenberg's special blend of crystal meth while cold-calling customers, I do think they could relax on the marijuana stuff. Newsflash Team England: marijuana is legal in some form in 22 of the 50 states. I don't think an employee who fails a test for weed quite deserves the same punishment as an employee who fails a test for heroine. But hey, what do I know? I've never seen reefer madness.

Pros

Great pay and culture is great as well. Environment where you legitimately grow your own business.

Cons

Horrible training, very AGGRESSIVE METRIC SYSTEM, up or out mentality. 1 month of bad luck in sales will get you fired. Highest employee churn rate I have ever seen. Star from ground zero and work your way into being successful but then see no support in return, good luck!

England Logistics Response

Thank you for the advice. We do market our business and combine that with the more proactive strategy of reaching out to potential customers. We are also working to improve the training that we provide based upon experience and feedback from those who have succeeded and those who have struggled. Our goal is to help our people be successful. Our first core value is Career--meaning we strive to help our people succeed and achieve their full potential through providing training and coaching starting day one and continuing throughout their career at EL. I hope that employee who is struggling in their experience will be open and honest about their challenges and come to a senior leader, including myself, if they don't experience the support I am indicating is our commitment. We are working to build an even stronger culture of growth and development in which personal professional opportunity is employee driven, leader guided.

Pros

They have a flexible schedule and are willing to help with any needs. Great starting salary and good bonuses

Cons

The policies change more frequently than I would like but that's part of having a career, doing what is required of you
