Pros

You have uncapped earning potential. Family friendly hours and environment. Good team environment. Good benefits. Fun Industry and Challenging work. Opportunity for promotions. Truly enjoy team members. Jason Beardall / President, a very nice and sincere person, really wants the company to succeed and rewards high performance. Compensation is competitive in every department. As an Account Manager, You can make great money. If you do, its all on you. Don't expect support, you have to be 100% entrepreneurial in this position. Some people have been able to thrive, some don't. You can expect about a 85/15 split, you get around 15% total of what profit margin you make the company. They do provide a very competitive base, and an uncapped commission structure which is fantastic if you can figure out a way to make the system work for you.

Cons

Excessive upper management focus vs. sales support. Lower end of innovation in industry. Lots of managers, very few leaders. Account Managers are cold calling unqualified leads. No real marketing comparable to industry standards. Lack of sales support and tools. As the industry gets more competitive, this becomes more and more apparent as our standing falls due to structure. Closed door policy, lack of receiving employee feedback. *Received a 60% (D Grade and lower 10% in the industry) on most recent Gallop Survey by Employees but have not seen any real changes to improve this. The company has a tenancy to deny and justify employee criticism instead of using it to make improvements.

Pros

England is a great place to work. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that most people don't quit the company, they quit their supervisor. Some of the supervisors at EL are really fantastic - others just aren't cut out for management (they just haven't figured it out yet.

Cons

Senior management could do a better job of filling the gap by involving employees more with the strategic direction of the company and also listening to the concerns of front line employees as well as front line managers.

Pros

Team environment. Opportunity for higher pay.

Cons

Lots of unnecessary requirements such as: making 100 calls a day (they focus on quantity, rather than quality), team building exercises which seemed pointless, etc.
