Pros

1. One of the better managed tech companies that seems to know what it is doing 2. Always looking to the future in terms of better ways to serve customers 3. Best idea wins. Regardless of title of time at Enova 4. Very results focused. Junior team members get recognized/promoted for their achievements 5. Very dynamic environment. Everyday is something new & challenging to work on 6. Work life balance very manageable; All relative since nobody is around after 8pm, which is very different from Google or Facebook.

Cons

A. Lots of different projects competing for too few resources B. Groups tend to be very silo-ed. Management tries to update through Enova Buzz, but could be more often C. Shifting bottlenecks due to rapid growth. Hire PMs because not enough PMs, but now bottleneck shifts to developers. Hire developers because not enough developers, but now not enough TechQA, etc.

Pros

-opportunities to take on lots of responsibility and get promoted quickly at junior levels -high growth company; exposure to international business -projects allow you to gain experience working with different aspects of the business -high-level managers are technically skilled and understand details of projects and the business -bonus structure is attractive at higher levels -entrepreneurial culture allows for schedule flexibility and relaxed dress code

Cons

-benefits (healthcare, 401K, etc.) are average at best -promotions/raises can be nepotistic at times -most of middle management and senior management are not strong people leaders or mentors -entrepreneurial culture results in lack of learning documentation, unstructured processes, clarity across business units
