      This is a challenging role which requires a well rounded skill set to be successful. If you are interested in interacting with many different technologies then this could be a pro. Additionally, compensation is good and merit increases are very fair.

      Cons

      As an Automation Technician you won't have any advancement into other careers without additional certification or education.
